FYA-DEFENCE Retrofit Fire Collar, Floorwaste 50mm SNAP LP50R
The LP50R is a low profile retro-fit collar for floorwaste and shower pipework in applications with concrete slabs, and concrete or masonry walls of 150mm or thicker.
It is very important that the collar and intumescent pads are fitted the correct way up.
The minimum size of the sleeve anchors to be used to fasten the fire collar is 6.5mm x 35mm; they must be all steel, fire rated anchors.
The fire collar, the pipe material and the actual installation method will all effect compliance with the FRL, so be sure you use the right collar and the matching installation procedure for each application.
