The Snap HP100R is a retrofit fire collar to maintain passive fire resistance where floor penetrations have been made for shower and wet areas.

It is very important that the collar and intumescent are fitted the correct way up. The minimum size of the sleeve anchors to be used to fasten 22RF-100 and HP100R fire collars is 6.5mm x 35mm; anchors must be all steel, and fire rated.

The fire collar, the pipe material and the actual installation method will all affect compliance with the FRL, so be sure you use the right collar and the matching installation procedure for each application.

IMPORTANT: Always check to ensure the collar under consideration has relevant certification for:

    • the building materials in the application,

    • the orientation of the penetration,

    • the type, size and thickness of the pipe,

    • the installation method.

    • the FRL rating
