Last January 19th was a great opportunity for the team to meet up and celebrate the wins of 2023 and set new goals and targets to meet for 2024. Team Strategy Day is an annual PowAGroup Team event that kickstarts our year on a positive note.
The morning set off with our Director, Carl Rowe, thanking the team, reflecting on our company values, and sharing the exciting vision for PowAGroup in 2024.
Reflecting on 2023: A Year of Achievements
We took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the wins of 2023, both big and small. The Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Financial teams presented their achievements, showcasing the collective effort that propelled PowAGroup forward.
The day also featured warm welcomes to our newest team members: Jessie, April, Simon, James, Cleo, Rocklan, and Bob. Their unique contributions promise to add more diversity, creativity, and expertise to our vibrant team.
Breaks with a View
During the Morning Tea and lunch breaks at Harvey's Bar, the team enjoyed a picturesque view of the 18-hole golf course at Park Proxi Gibraltar Bowral, fostering a relaxed atmosphere for team building and strategy.
Setting the Course for 2024
The afternoon session was dedicated to outlining the priorities for 2024. The team actively participated in discussions, workshops, and agenda items to ensure everyone was aligned with the goals. The day concluded with a recap, confirming takeaways and action items.
A Surprise Visitor and a Goal Achieved
Adding an unexpected twist to the day was the surprise visit of Jessie, who joined PowAGroup from the Philippines less than a year ago. Carl organised his visit in time for the 2024 Team Strategy Day, turning it into a memorable surprise for the entire team. Jessie, now a key player and guru with the team working on engineering & technical aspects like seismic, passive fire, etc. is spending two weeks sightseeing and working alongside our team.
Carl expressed his joy at meeting Jessie in person and enabling him to fulfill his dream of exploring Australia. This surprise visit exemplifies PowAGroup's commitment in helping people we work with (both customers & our team), get places, to acheive their goals in life.
Embracing Growth and Gratitude
As the day came to a close, the PowAGroup team gathered for a group photo, including remote team members who joined us virtually throughout the session. The message was clear: our success is attributed to our hardworking team and the support of our valued customers.
