FCW100. Unlike the standard types of retrofit fire collars which require a collar on both sides of the wall, the 'Through Wall' Promaseal FCW100 collars only require one collar, installed directly into the penetration in the wall.
The 'Through Wall' Collars have been tested and approved so that they can be positioned at the
angle required for falls specified for the plumbing pipes.
They are designed
for insertion into wall elements made of hebel, plasterboard, concrete or
brickwork, and can be used with a range of pipes for up to 120 minutes fire
rating (in accordance with AS 1530: Part 4, AS 4072: Part 1 and BS 476: Part
20).
Take note that fire
collar compliance always depends on factors like the FRL rating, the pipe
material, the building element and the installation method.
